About

For more than a decade, I wrestled with depression. I tried countless therapies, workshops, and medications, hoping that one of them would finally bring me relief. At one point, I even found myself homeless for two years, weighed down by the heaviness of it all. Nothing seemed to fully work on its own, so I began piecing together different approaches, mixing what I had learned from therapy, medication, and my own lived experience. I leaned heavily on practices like using the five senses from DBT, and I started creating my own way of dealing with depression—moment by moment, day by day.

Through this process, I taught myself coping skills that not only helped me manage my emotions but also eased the physical toll depression was taking on my body. Slowly, I began to feel lighter, more capable, and more present. Now, I live with hope and happiness in a way I never thought possible. I’m not saying my method is a one-size-fits-all solution, but I share it because maybe it could spark something for someone else. Why not try? You never know what might help you take that next step toward healing.
